I help renters in Pardubice transform temporary spaces into cozy homes using throw pillows, candles, vases, and thoughtful design choices. No permanent changes. No landlord conflicts. Just beautiful, lived-in spaces.
I didn't plan to become an interior designer. In 2012, I took a junior position at a design studio in Prague — honestly, I thought it'd be temporary. But something clicked. I loved watching spaces transform. I loved seeing people's faces when they realized their apartment could actually feel like home.
What really shaped my career was working within constraints. Renters face real limitations. You can't knock down walls. You can't repaint. You've got a landlord to answer to. For years, I watched designers ignore these realities. They'd suggest expensive renovations or permanent changes that just weren't possible. That frustrated me.
So I focused on what actually works in rental spaces. Throw pillows. Candles. Vases. Lighting. Textiles. These aren't afterthoughts — they're the foundation of a cozy home. I studied Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague, and later completed a postgraduate certification in Sustainable Home Décor from Brno University of Technology. But honestly, the real education came from working with actual clients.
"Beautiful spaces shouldn't require permanent renovations or large budgets. Renters deserve homes that feel genuinely theirs."
In 2019, I moved to Pardubice. The rental market here is booming — young professionals, students, families in transition. They're living in spaces that feel temporary because that's all the options they have. But I saw an opportunity. I started working with renters directly, helping them understand how thoughtful styling improves mental wellbeing. How a few carefully chosen pieces can change the entire atmosphere of a room. How you don't need to wait for "your own place" to make your current space beautiful.
That's what brought me to laurelhr s.r.o. Here, I get to share what I've learned with hundreds of people. We're not selling expensive design services. We're teaching practical, budget-conscious strategies that actually work in real rental apartments. That's the work I'm genuinely excited about.
Focused expertise in styling rental spaces with decorative elements that transform without permanent changes
Strategic lighting transforms spaces instantly. I specialize in layered lighting using lamps, candles, and fixtures that work in rental apartments without modifications.
Candles aren't just decor — they're atmosphere. I help renters select the right types, sizes, and placements to create genuinely cozy, inviting spaces.
Vases are sculptural elements that anchor a room. I guide selection based on your space, style preferences, and how they interact with other pieces.
Pillows define comfort and style. I help renters layer textures, colors, and patterns in ways that feel intentional, not random or overwhelming.
Everything I recommend works in rented spaces. No permanent changes, no landlord conflicts. Just smart, reversible styling that respects lease agreements.
The right color combinations and textures create depth and warmth. I work with natural light, existing furniture, and personal taste to build cohesive spaces.
My approach is straightforward. I don't believe in trends that don't serve actual people. I don't push expensive items or unnecessary purchases. And I definitely don't think temporary homes deserve any less care than permanent ones.
When I work with renters, I'm thinking about three things. First, what's actually possible within the constraints of a rental lease? Second, what genuinely makes a space feel welcoming and cozy? Third, what fits your budget and lifestyle?
There's a misconception that interior styling is about matching everything perfectly. It's not. It's about intention. When you choose a candle, a pillow, a vase because it speaks to you — not because some algorithm suggested it — that authenticity shows. People feel it.
I've learned that cozy spaces improve how people live. They sleep better. They have friends over more often. They feel calmer. That's not an accident. That's design working properly.
Natural light, existing furniture, layout constraints, and lease limitations.
What draws you? Warm minimalism? Eclectic coziness? Scandinavian simplicity? We find your aesthetic.
Select pieces that work together — not because they match, but because they create harmony.
Lighting, textiles, vessels, and accents work together to create warmth and depth.
